Plus 1 ! although you may want to be sure everyone has cleared before walking down range! Have you ever felt like you have a target on your back? LOL I thought the same thing when I first put it on. I didnt know if it would be safe to wear around the house, especially when the wife finds out I bought more gun stuff .

I came in with a big bag of bullets, powder and other stuff from the gun shop the other night. Needed to load some rounds for the Wyoming trip . Almost bought a gun too, but thought that may be pushing it a bit .

should not have any ring spacing issues If you have never had that kind of power before, you will have to learn to shoot around your heat beat. you will see the rifle move with it.

Recently got a 4200 6-24, made all my other varmint scopes obsolete. The 6-24 has plenty of ring "liberties" Just sold a 12 x because it just didn't look right anymore.

I thought the same thing when I got my 4200 6-24 Ed . Still deciding whether to sell my 10x Leupold or not, just cant seem to part with it just yet.

It was a tough decision to sell my Leupy 12X; that scope had a lot of kills to it's credit. But since 95% of my shooting is at paper anymore it was the right choice.

I have mine on my 17hmr, but I have a couple other lesser quality scopes I could use on it since it's only good to 150 yds max. Then I could buy another BIG scope for the next gun that I haven't built yet . Thinking of a deer hunting/walking groundhog&prarie dog gun. maybe a heavy sporter Shilen or McGowen barrel in 25-06(I know you like that idea ) or 6.5, or along those lines. Maybe in a Duramax stock. Maybe with a Bushnell elite 5-15 scope. Other than that I have no idea what I want to build
