Collector forum rules

Guys, this section is set up for the sole purpose of talking about collectible firearms.

It will deal with dating Savage guns, history on the models and identifying the models you own.

As for posting auctions, not gonna happen!!!! We learn nothing from this and the post will be deleted as quickly as I find it. Some exceptions may be made if it is a very rare model or special order and a good thread is started about the gun mentioned but as for everyday ordinary 99's it's a big no.

Please make use of the tech section if you have a technical question about your gun, this is for information only and any gunsmithing issues should be taken to that section.

Also, please don't post that you are selling your rifle, if so either p.m. me letting me know or post it down in the classifieds, this is not a selling forum here it is for collecting and there are to many lurkers trying to slip a gun out from under regular collectors here, posts stating that they are selling will be edited by me.
