For those who missed the announcement, we recently added a buyer/seller feedback tool known as the Trader System.  This system allows buyers and sellers to leave feedback for each other after the conclusion of a transaction in the classifieds.

The purpose of this system is the same as the feedback systems on auction sites like GunBroker.com, Ebay.com, etc. so you can check a buyer or sellers feedback prior to making an agreement with them and hopefully avoid an unpleasant situation.  To date we have only had a few bad deals transpire in our classifieds, and with this new system we hope to ensure our classifieds remain to be a safe and trusted place to buy and sell without fear of being cheated.

Using the Trader system is very simple and straight forward.  The first step is accessing the profile of the buyer or seller you wish to leave feedback for.  This is accomplished by clicking on their name in any post by them.

Doing so will bring you to that members Profile Summary page as shown above.  Below their basic user information you will find their Feedback information, as well as a link to leave that member feedback (highlighted by the red arrow).

Clicking on the Submit Feedback link will take you to the above displayed form where you can leave your feedback for the buyer or seller.  The top field lets you specify which role you played in the transaction (buyer or seller), and the second lets you select one of three ratings (positive, neutral or negative).

The third field is where you can put in a short comment to summarize your feedback.  Something as simple as "A+  Excellent Buyer/Seller" or "Great transaction and fast shipping" will suffice.

The fourth field is optional, and is for the page URL for the transaction.  Since we remove transaction posts from the classified boards once they are completed there's really no need to provide a link back to it as it won't exist for much longer.

The fifth and final field is where you can enter a more detailed description of the transaction if you so choose.  Here you can list what exactly it was you purchased from or sold to the other party, how quickly the payment or item(s) arrived, etc.

Once all the fields are filled in and you're satisfied with your work all that is left to do is click on the "Submit Feedback" button and you're done.

Yes, it's as simple as that!
