From this point on, any and all political discussions NOT directly and specifically pertaining to pending firearm legislation (gun control acts), Second Amendment rights, or hunting regulations will be promptly deleted.  We made this perfectly clear in the Firearms Legislation board a month or so ago, but a select few have decided that since they can no longer pollute that board with their political ranting they'll do it on the Off Topic board.  NO MORE!

This is a firearms and hunting related website and forum, not a place for people to bicker over which candidate is better, which party is better, etc.  We all have our own personal opinions and views on those topics and that's all fine and dandy, but this IS NOT the site to express those views and opinions.  If you want to talk politics, go to one of the thousands of political oriented websites on the net.  Rant and rave there all you want until you're blue in the face, but from here on out such banter will not be tolerated on this forum.

And before someone shoots off their mouth about censorship or freedom of speech, if you have a problem with this policy just remember that you are under no obligation to keep coming here.  All of our moderators have been instructed to delete any non-conforming political topics on site, and if you choose to make an issue of their being deleted like some have in the past, you will find yourself on our ban list the same as they did.

Since some people obviously can't comprehend the above rule and/or play well with others, we (the staff) have decided enough is enough and have removed the Firearms Legislation board all together.  This DOES NOT mean we now want you to post your political rants in the Off-Topic board either!  Any and all political posts or posts that turn political will be deleted on sight...NO EXEPTIONS!

We ARE NOT going to sit back and let a few people destroy the open and friendly atmosphere of this forum simply because of their political beliefs, conspiracy theories, fears, etc.  If you want to discuss this type of stuff, go to one of the millions of political websites, blogs, forums, etc. that are available on the internet.

THIS IS A FIREARMS WEBSITE SOLELY FOR THE DISCUSSION OF SAVAGE FIREARMS AND THE HUNTING AND SHOOTING SPORTS

It's unfortunate that we have to do this and we apologize to the many who have been able to refrain from becoming a part of the problem, but if we let it go such behavior would only continue to worsen.
