Does a timber wolf count? Sorry no pic of the gun with this one. This female weighed in at 96lbs & came to a calf moose call. Shot in the neck @ 65yds with a 180gr Bearclaw .30-06 bullet. (we washed it lots for the pics) There is a gaping hole in the left shoulder.

That is a big dog!! I would say that it counts. This weekends results are in. Four all together and one double.

Sorry no gun in the pic but I assure you my savage killed it. You were not joking when you said those 85 grain noslers would demolish a coyote. 25-06 AI 3720 fps.

Dont try that bullet on deer. Been there done that and the bullets explode on the surface. Took me 5 shots to bring down a large whitetail with that bullet. Coyotes dont run very far using it though

No coyotes yet this fall, but how about a badger I shot with my Savage 12VLP in .204 Ruger on October 24, 2008??? He was chowing down on one of the prairie dogs I had shot and began ambling away from me with the PD still in his jaws. I shot hime in the heart/lung area with a 39 gr. Sierra BlitzKing and he just keeled right over with the prairie dog still firmly clenched in his jaws. Close-up of PD in his mouth. And another close-up photo:
