I have really enjoyed this thread. I mostly hunt with my ARs so I don't have anything to offer to this post other than a Well Done.

Great times.

Sorry no gun but had to share the ring and what the little 204 can do! I have a 270win also and then purchased this 204 and installed a bell and carlson varmint tactical stock and once again I have to say it! This thing is awesome!

Would like to start coyote hunting and am looking at a getting a new rifle.  Which would you recommend?
The 12FV 26" heavy barrel with synthetic stock or a 11FNS 22" sporter barrel with a synthetic stock?  Price is not a consideration,  the heavy barrel with an accu-stock is on sale and is the same price as the one with the sporter barrel.
Oh yea, the caliber is going to be 22-250.

Never mind,  decided on the 12FV

For a coyote specific rifle, I'd look more toward the sporter weight rifle.  I've got a 16FHSS in .243 and the Model 10 predator hunter in 22-250.  The 250 is much easier on the pelts.  I like both of them an aweful lot, but would lean toward the model 16.  I like the hinge floor plate over the detachable mag, and preferr the lighter rifle when walking from stand to stand.

Here's another coyote from last weekend.  This one with the predator hunter.

First off, you guys make a guy from MI jealous as ****.  I've yet to have a dog in the glass!

Second, I love the gloves under the 'ol Model 12...don't want to scratch her!   Roll Eyes   I'd do the same thing...
