Below are some of the commonly asked questions regarding the functions and tools on this website.

1.  I purchased a membership so why can't I access the articles on the main website?
When logging into the main website be sure to click the "Member Login" button to submit your username and password.  If you simply hit the Enter key it will show you as being logged in, but when you try to view an article it will kick you back to the Membership Information page.  This is a known bug and one we're still working to resolve, but it's proven to be a difficult one to track down.


2.  How do I know when my paid membership will expire?
All your membership information is accessible through your profile here on the forum.  Simply click on the "Profile" tab at the top of any forum page, then select "Paid Subscriptions" from the menu on the left.  Toward the bottom of this page it will show you what subscription(s) you have, when they were purchased and when they are set to expire.


3.  What happened to the member classifieds?  They were there just a few days ago but now they're gone.
If you can no longer view the member classifieds it means your membership has expired.  See #2 above for instruction on how to access your paid subscription information.


4.  I received a PM notification via email, but where do I go to access my PM's?
PM's are a feature only available to paid members, so unless you are a paid member you will not be able to access any PM's sent to you (nor will you be able to send any).

5.  How do I renew my paid membership?
Renewal is the same as purchasing a new membership.  To renew via PayPal, simply go into your Paid Subscriptions information (see #2 above) and select the duration you wish to renew for.  After completing the transaction your account will be automatically updated when the payment clears, and the new subscription will be set to start at the completion of your previous subscription.

To renew via check or money order (U.S. residents only!), simply mail your check or money order to the address below.  Also, be sure to include a note specifying your forum username so I know who's account the membership is for.

6.  I just purchased a membership through PayPal but I still don't have access to the website articles or the member classifieds. 
PayPal offers two types of payments (echeck and instant) depending on the account the funds are being drawn from and whether or not your have verified your accounts with them.  Echecks are generally pulled from your personal checking or savings account and will take 3-5 days to clear with PayPal and your membership will not be activated until those funds clear.
