I drew a doe tag, my brother drew an elk tag and my father drew a mule deer buck tag. I'll be hunting alone this year as my unit is 35 and theirs is only a 70 mile drive to unit 84 VS my 8 hour drive I really dislike the Draw we have in colorado. We'll all be muzzleloading. Whats going on for you guys?

Not sure, depends on work and the economy. If I go out west to work I'll stay till after rifle season comes in in Wyoming and buy a few doe tags for antelope and muledeer. Got some land out there that's over run with them, since I'm not a resident that's the best I can do.

Muzzle loader Elk for Unit 561. Antelope unit 124 and an entry in the leftover draw. I have 17 preference points for Deer but can't seem to find the right opportunity to use them.

I put in for a doe tag and a cow elk tag for unit 39 in Idaho. I already have a bear tag. All three seasons run concurrently if I draw the elk tag. I think results come out in a month or so. If I get my elk draw, I'll pretty much be saying "if it's brown, it's down."

I have a hunt planned for New Mexico mule deer, unit 37. Don't have all the info yet as I am being invited to go as a guest. First ever out of state hunt for me. (Texas hunter). If I'm lucky some of my friends will need some does killed to manage their deer density, so will get a doe or two from south Texas and the hill country. If things continue I have the 5000 acres in Dilley to hunt pigs and varmints.

I'll be going on a NM hunt with my brother in law. He got a mule deer tag up near Raton. We took a great whitetail up there last year. We decided that hes going to antler hunt the first 4-5 days and the last 3 days, it will be a meat hunt.

The little wife drew a sheep tag (August)for the trophy area near Delta junction Alaska. I drew a goat tag for our own Kodiak Island hunting area. September 10th will find me in Chignik Alaska after moose. Of which after that hunt I will ride a 58 foot fishing boat from Chignik back to Kodiak where my wife will fly the 130 miles to the south end of Kodiak to meet me. Caribou and deer are on tap after we climb into craigs for my goat.
We each have three over the counter deer tags so will spend October,November and December looking for horns.
We have a couple of weeks left to see if we drew Elk, Bison and Brown Bear tags this spring drawing.

I drew an Elk tag for an area South of Rawlins, WY. We'll be hunting on private land adjacent to Medicine Bow Nat forest near Dexter Peak. Owner has 6 sections of land stacked laterally on a sideslope with timbered National Forest above it and unimproved range land below. The Elk filter back and forth from the timber to the open ground mornings and evenings. We figure out where they are using, then nevigate in to cut them off. Have been there before - nice cabin with a cook, food and campjack to help get game out of the woods. Come on Oct 15th! ELkbane

My wife drew an elk tag for here in KY, BULL Tag, First rifle hunt, Oct. 3-9. She is stoked, me and her brother going with her. she is a pretty good hunter, has taken 13 deer. I fixed her a 110, with a factory .270 w/brake. It shoots Hornady 150gr. Interbonds into 3/4 or less, she shot off tall sticks the other day on a cardboard elk at 260yds, put 3 in a 2 inch circle in the shoulder. Good enough. She and I will both be deer hunting locally, and I am planning on doing some hog hunting down south.

I only put in for antelope in Wyoming and we didn't get drawn. Oh well, I did make a deal with Wifezilla, she wanted a new car and I said that she can get one anytime that she wants but if she does, I get to go back to Africa.

I didn't draw well here in CO only got pronghorn buck in the draw. I put in for plains either sex white tail deer, bull elk, and bull moose. I did pick up a landowner voucher for deer during second season, and a leftover draw for either sex elk. Plus dad got me a landowner voucher for the late season doe pronghorn hunt in Dec that is new this year.
