If only i could move out west or Alaska as here in Pa. there isn't hunting like there is out west, there only i think forty tags for ELK and about hundred thousand hunters trying for a ELK TAG.

Yeah, that's why I'll never move back East.  Even though I didn't draw the controlled cow hunt, I'll still be hunting in the general bull season.  Cows are just easier to find where I hunt and I don't eat the antlers so I really would rather have the cow tag.

Ctrout where in Idaho are you?.....Northcentral Idaho for me, everything over the counter tags except for the controlled hunts.....that means elk, deer, black bear, cougar, and turkey, not to mention the steelhead and salmon run......sorry guys I went to work in Utah for awhile and it seems like everything down there is draw only, Im just so happy to be home and be able to hunt what I want without having to draw out for animals, but I feel your pain.
