I am almost positive the 210's are a 1 in 35 twist or 1 in 36 twist.

Let me guess- you were hoping for like 1-28 twist like the Tar Hunt? I have haunted all the internet posts about the faster twist rate and the fast light sabots. I go to the range with a friend that shoots them (Hornady) within 3" to around 125 yards. My lightfields (IDS) are right there in the 3" mark but do start falling off fast past the 100 yard mark. Bottom line is that the Slug Warrior is my secret weapon in the shotgun only WMA's where I live.

I've been shooting a Savage 210F for about 10 years now !

Purchased the gun new in 1999 for the princely sum of $350 !

Anyway mine has shot well with just about everything I've put in it !

I do however stay away from the 3inchers .

I started shooting the Federal with the Barnes Expander in mine and killed quite a few deer behind my house in a NON shotgun only area . Just wanted to try it .
When Winchester came out with the Partition Gold I used that in the 210F to knock over three deer behind the house and then the following year used it on the Blackwater NWR to take a really nice 6 point Sika Stag .

Now I am pretty much convinced the polymer tipped slugs are the way to go in my rifle atleast .

I also recently acquired one of the new Savage 220F slug guns and this one also likes the plymer tipped stuff quite a bit .

i shoot the lightfield 3" hybred elite @ 2" groups @ 100. also shoot 2 3/4" rem. core lokt ultras with out changing scope. i tend to get more flyers w/ the rems. even though i run a bore snake after every fourth shot.

Took the old Slug Warrior to the range with 5 different manf. sabots. Winchester 3" Supreme Partition Gold win with a 5 shot 11/8" group at 50yds.
