Can't say I've ever heard of anyone shooting one.  I would think you'd be better served with a 30 BR.

Dtech has been building AR15s in that caliber for a while. Olympic arms is finally picking it up and the new legit round will be called the 300 OSSM. At least I think thats the name.

Its basically the equal of a 30-06.

No real benefit over existing factory 30 caliber based shells except you can run it through an AR15.
The 30 BR or 30RAR would have better brass and better accuracy for a bolt gun for target with the right twist.

The problem is with WSSM brass is its way too hard, you cant read pressure signs at all.
Too hot and the primer just drops out.

The necks are way too thick too.

I got quite a few defects in a bag of new brass. Most defects had cracked necks.
