Is there any sexy aftermarket stocks out there for the savage MKII's ??

something like this would be great.

or anything else "high tech" looking ?

lastly, what's the differences between say a 10/22 and a MKII when it comes to jamming the action into a stock.
e.g a savage action in a 10/22 aftermarket stock ?

Mostly because the bolt action needs a lot more room to cycle horizontally and the 10/22 action is about 4 times the size. That type of stock for a bolt action is fairly inefficient, it just not work like you would think. Cycling the action would be a serious pain.

yea i dont think it would work since the bolt travels outside the action where as the 10/22 the bolt stays in. you also have to worry about the bolt lift

so if you want a stock like that your pretty much stuck with the 10/22 unless you can find a machinest that can custom make you a stock but that would cost a TON
