Would be nice if you pick one thread or the other for the official skinny.

Like, pick this one, and post a link to this one in the other one so all will come here to play.

Red with a bit of crushed red pepper flakes for just the right amount of heat.

Sounds great! darn shame it's not in my neck of the woods. Looks like the perfect venue to get started in long range competition.

Ed,
you know i wanna go, so stop by and pick me up on your way. If a couple of us carpooled it wouldnt be that bad.

Of course, between my guns and your guns we'd definately need atleast a van Cheesy Roll Eyes

I'm in if we can workout somwthing like that.

So, I bring my SKS, hundreds of rounds of ammo, and hope to hit the target with irons at 600?

You should hold a 50/50 raffle.  $1 for 2 shots (got to give a sighter).  Person on metal and closest to center at 6C takes half.

Any chance that a 200 yrd target might be added for smaller calibers, say .17 to .22? I don't have anything to shoot but a .20 vartarg. Might be a good weekend to drive down the mountain, shoot and then pull on down to the Pamlico for some trout and puppy drum fishing. Durham is about 1/2 way for me. This looks to be a great range & facility.

OK- got the note on the Raffle, I will check to c if we can pull it off- This is a sanctioned 600yd F class shoot so:

1- No targets at 200yds.
2- Any rifle- as long as it follows the F class rules for weight, etc. If interested check the North State Shooters Site. The F class rules are on there- Prone only, F/TR is .308/ .223 only. lower weight class, etc.

Cool, as we get closer I will advise
