I have a fss 116 blind box can I convert it too a hinged floor plate I bought this gun back in 1994 if that helps

I have a detachable 111 that I converted to blind to fit aftermarket stocks. Basically just removed the floorplate and put a guide hole in the bottom of the stock to seat the spring consistently.

Going hinged plate is on the "to do" list for this rifle. In theory, one should be able to make an accurate cut in the stock below the magazine, then add a hinge and design/fabricate a latch for the cutout and call it a day.
