I inherited an old Savage .22 from my grandfather.  I took it to the range this weekend and my shots were consistently to the right of the target.

I'm not sure if or how I can adjust the rear sight.

I have attached a picture.

Does anyone here know how to make adjustments to this type of sight?

Thanks.

Take a brass punch and drive rear sight to the left in V grove or front site right.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I want to make sure that I understand you correctly.

This is the top of the rear sight looking down on it:

Doing this will not make the sight loose?

I assume that this is something to do at the range so that I can see how each adjustment affects the aim.

Thanks!
