My friend moved out to colorado this year and we plan on elk hunting next year with another friend of mine so I was thinking today, wouldn't be cool to have all matching guns so that got me thinking what gun, what gun. I came up with the 116 action from say a 30-06 or so, barrel Sin Arms #1 contour 6.5mm 1/8.5" twist and made into a Zombie hunter barrel and finish at 21". Caliber would be none other than the 6.5x55 (maybe 260AI). They would sit in Duramaxx stocks and have a vortex scope on top. Doesn't that sound like a nice set of guns?

We might not be the fastest but everything leaves here with a little love, it just has more love the longer it is here.

It does indeed sound like a nice set of guns, and it would also settle the "my gun is better than your gun" issue...LOL

HMM I'd say a Manners MCS-SL in Olive Drab, A 18" .260 barrel with a removeable MuzzleBrake, .300" Recoil lug, Stockade 5/8" Knob, T&T Model 12 action, Williams Open sights, QR rings and a Leupold Utra Light 3-9x33. If ya think it would be a cool rig maybe I'll post some pics in a couple days when Manners sends it back to me.. Cheesy

Haha I am trying to keep it fairly cheap because I will probably end up covering the cost of all 3 for a while.

Smiley  sounds like a fine idea and to "help" you you can send me one to test and break in
the barrels  Cheesy all kidding aside the 6.5 x 55 is an excellent choice ,and oft overlooked as
a big game cartridge . you know you ll have to post pics. along the way.sounds good
