Mike, I had to look up the LRPV in the Repeater to see what my costs were. Basically Savage charges the dealers a $35.00 premium for the Repeater Rifles over the base cost for the Single Shot Actions. The Barrel is the same so the $35.00 is actually for the Action with Magazine and the Stock with Magazine feature. Pricing as follows: LRPV Single Shot Action - $445.00 LRPV Single Shot Stock - $285.00 Repeater Option - $35.00 Savage Stocked Action Repeater Package - $765.00 + $20.00 S&H to your local FFL.

Jim, My nephew is wanting to build a gun. He would like to have a repeating LRPV right bolt right port, H.S. stock, 26" 1-10 twist stainless barrel in .308. Since Savage does not make this config. can you supply enough parts? Is this possible & how much? Thanks Jim

Jim, I have already done special rifles for guys that are configured as you are requesting. I can offer you one of the Savage LRPV Rifles minus the barrel and then sell you a McGowen Stainless Prem. Match Barrel that is exactly what you are asking for. You will have to also order a 308 detachable magazine box but then it will be complete and operational. Is this what you are after?

Yes. Can you give me the pricing for the stocked action, the magazine, and the barrell to make a complete rifle? Also will the stock be a H.S. just like the LRPV repeater? Thanks

Jim, The Stocked Action in the LRPV Repeater configuration would run you $750.00. The 308 Magazine is another $40.00. Shipping to your local FFL will be $20.00. The McGowen Barrel in the LRPV Contour is based on actual Barrel Length, pricing as follows: 26" - $269.00 28" - $289.00 30" - $309.00 Shipping, handling and insurance on the Barrel will run you $14.00 if shipped seperately. If I have one in stock when I put your order together I can save you some shipping costs by including it with the above listed Stocked Action.
This would give your nephew a one of a kind Match Grade Savage Repeater in 308.

CW, I have the Savage RB/LP - .473 Bolt Face Target Actions in stock now. They are priced at $430.00 + $14.00 S&H to your door. These will be Savage Factory Actions, they are not timed or trued. The Factory Action is what Savage uses in all of their regular rifles. They shoot very well as they are. The Timed/Trued Actions are smoother to operate.

Jim, do these actions take small shank barrels (like the .260 & .308 McGowans I just bought from you)?
Thanks

Spsowell, All of the Savage Target Actions are Large Shank Actions. Barrels for these Actions will have to be Large Shank.

Are these target actions small or large shanks? I have a 20vt barrel on a repeater that I'm thinking of putting on a single.

Mayne, All of the Savage Target Actions are Large Shank Actions. I do have a few of the original Savage Single Shot Actions in the Standard Shank Action if you are interested.

What are the price on those like Jim? I may be able to swing it before they are gone, then again, never know. Mayne

Jim, what is the screw spacing on the small shank single action? Are they three scree actions like the newer large shank target actions? what is the trigger on them? The lighter target or the normal accutrigger? Thanks!
