Answering two at this time: Lee, I sent you an e-mail as requested.
Mike, The Savage Small Shank Stainless Single Shots is 4.250". These are based off of the older Staggered Magazine Action Screw spacing. These are the two Action Screw Actions. The Savage Accu-Triggers on these Action will be the lightweight Varmint Accu-Triggers. They will adjust down to the 1 1/2 lb range. They can be tweaked to just under the 1 pound mark if you want to take some time with one yourself.

Updating my inventory after the move, currently have at least one of all the Target Actions available. Still at the $445.00 + $14.00 S&H pricing.

Sinman, I have to laugh when I see that photo. The Machinist that makes my new HD Recoil Lugs built a dual port Savage clone for himself just for something to do, I have photo's. I had a photo sent to Fred at SSS for his review and four months later Savage posts this as their newest idea.

Perfect! Any idea when the dual port actions will be in? I'm starting t see them popping up on Gunbroker.
Are you able to do the transfers yourself? I'm local, just wondering if I could save some bucks by not having to mess around with shipping and FFL fees.
Thanks - I'll call you tomorrow.

Fat_46, I have not seen anything on the Dual Port Actions as of yet. Quite often the guys that advertise on GB sell what they have on order but not what is currently in stock.
I can do local transfers here so if you would prefer that we can work with your request.

Blue Avenger, You are correct. The Savage Dual Port Target Actions are a different Action Screw Spacing than the other Target Actions. They are the Actions designed for the Newest Benchrest and Palma Rifles.

Jim: I have purchased several Target actions (Dean-Houston TX) and I was wondering if you have a Dual Port with a bolt face that would work with our 6.5 X 284
