why would you get a 7mm rsum whn you could have a 7mm wsm and have 300fps gain and it comes in many rifles from the factory and have alot more factory ammo choices?

You wouldn't, which is why the RSAUMs have essentially been discontinued. Is anyone making a factory rifle in RSAUM anymore? Looks like even Remington has surrendered because their fancy new Alaskan Ti is being made in both 270 WSM and 300 WSM, but not in any RSAUM round.  I would bet in the next few years they will trim the RSAUM facotry loads back to one load for each.

Unless they source out their ammo production, like they seem to be doing with everything else.  Then we'll have "Remington - made in Russia"

Not so much variety there, I'd imagine.
