How do you handle the interference of the cheek rest with the cleaning rod?  Are there better solutions for the cheek rest?

Clean from the muzzle with a bore guide to keep from damaging the muzzle.

Replace the Choate scab-on with a Karsten cheekpiece that you can run down to clean and back up to shoot, adjustable to suit your face.

Another +1 for the Karsten.
