243 Headspacing Problem

"Questions" works for me. Some of those answers lead to and I think we all might agree that the resized brass complicates what may be a non issue. Those of us that start changing barrels on our savages run into many issues like this and learn the devil is in the details.
Hopefully werewolf's problem gets resolved without any damage or pain. Obviously there are people much wiser than I here to help. I think I will sits back and gets me some edjucation.

Could the die be "squeezing" the case longer and bottoming out on the shell holder before bumping the shoulder?

I know my 7WSM Redding FL die was squeezing my cases 0.004 too long to chamber even when bottomed out. I ground a bit off the bottom of the die and then reset it and then the case was reaching the shoulder of the die and I could bump it back 0.002 every time.

Just a thought.
