There are lots of good options out there in that price range but I don't think you'll be sorry about getting the Swift. Out of all that I have, I've only used their customer service once and it was just as good as any. In fact I think Swift is a well kept secret being that they don't advertise as much as the others. In fact, I've never seen a Swift add at all.

just mounted a Swift 3.5x10x44 on my VLP 22-250 today and that thing is a one holer. Under .5" with all 4 loads I tried. Scope never faulted and is clear and crisp.

Just to chime in on the Burris/Pentax comment. I have both the Burris Fullfield II 4.5x14x44 and the Pentax Pioneer 4.5x14x44. Other than different reticles and cosmetics, they seem to be identical. I'm convinced they are of the same design. I believe it is a discontinued model for Pentax.
