Try again, Patrick.

The link you provided is from 2004 - when F-Class didn't 'officially' exist, and when shot didn't use the 1/2 moa X and 1 moa 10-ring (that started @ the 2006 FCNC, and became official in January 2007). The current edition can be accessed here: http://www.nrahq.org/compete/RuleBooks/HPR/hpr-book.pdf

Pretty sure I know what the dimensions of the NRA regulation targets for both are... as I shoot both iron sights and F-Class from 300 to 1000yds. I stand by the dimensions I listed earlier.

That said... yes, the 600 & 1000yd BR targets are harder, if shot solely for score, as the rings are markedly smaller.

Section 4 is for regular (i.e. iron sight) targets.

Now go to section 22, and find the dimensions for F-class targets. I think you'll see something like:

4.7 800, 900, and 1000 Yard Target NRA No LRFC - F-Class Target Center
...
Aiming Black
(inches)

X ring . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5.00
10 ring . . . . . . . . . . . . 10.00
...

I've shot, scored, and marked many thousands of rounds in competition on these targets in the last five years since they've been in effect. Like I said... pretty sure I know the F-class target dimensions - and rules - better than most.

Now that we've managed to drag this thread thoroughly off topic...
