Gives me the option of putting on a suppressor instead of the brake.
Brakes are too loud and the suppressor performs the same function reducing the recoil with greatly reduced noise.

I may be wrong...But I don't think they are the same thread as the "On-OFF" Brake.

I've only had one off, and I never paid any attention to the size. It does use a crush washer to index it. If you plan on using a suppressor, screw it off and measure it.

I heard the same thing. I wish I could tell you, if ever I manage to get the damn thing off. >:(
