Does anybody have any loading data on 243 and reloder 17
shooting 65 and 80 gr bullets
Go to the Alliant web site and you can download the Reloader 17 data.

Unfortunately, Alliant has very little data on their web page for any of the listed
calibers. If someone is a Speer bullet fan, you're in luck for all the loads are done
with Speer bullets!
Although not specific to the .243, here is a good read on Reloader 17:

I have been loading several bullet weights for the .243 using RL17 for load
development this spring using loads for H4350, and dropping back a couple
of grains. I got to shoot a few loads with RL17 in my 112 VLP .25-06 this
past fall, and it shows great promise in that caliber. Here's hoping it will do
as well, or better, in the .243!

I did some reloading with r17 this weekend and shot them through the chrono. It shot 3650 with a 65 gr vmax and shot 3380 with a 80 gr ttsx all don at 30 degree temp. this is what im going to shoot in my daughters tc encore 243. It also showed good promise in a 243wssm shooting a 87 gr bthp at 3380+ with very little deviation.
