110 FCP-HS 338 Lapua

I hang around a fair amount of precision shooters that bang away with some big hammers. The scopes I see are Vortex, Night Force, and SWFA on the big rifles, and most of the smaller ones as well. Mostly because they are mil/mil based shooters, but also because they don't let them down. The few MOA based guys run either Nikon or Vortex MOA based scopes.

Take a look at the bushnell elite tactical scopes. I put a 3-21x50 on my savage 338, with the g2 reticle. It's a good combo, good value and decent glass with a great reticle.

The next on one up the 4.5-30 is even better but the cost goes up.

I've shot my 338 over a mile with this scope setup, no complaints.

I really like the Bushnell 3.5x21 also but on my 338 Lapua I have a SWFA 5-20X-50mm So far no problems.

I got the Vortex PST 6-24 with the MRAD retical looks great waiting on the Nightforce UltraLight rings to come in before i can lap them and mount it.... THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR INPUT AND ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long Live Savage
