From my experience in aggressive loading and overbore chambering, the first 400 are match rounds, the next 400 are target rounds, and the last 400 are hunting rounds, then rethroat the barrel and shampoo, rinse, repeat, Jim at Apache is chambering me a 22 cal, from a necked down 6.5 swede, I had a new McGowen 26" 22-250 9 twist that was also collecting dust, the best part is you get Lapua brass for $70.00 per hundred, Can't wait to see those Sierra

Scope...I like the way you think. Me personally, I feel like those bullets at that speed...well there won't be a coyote in the county that is safe. Hit em like a hammer.

I am at point in my life, that I don't nearly shoot the volume of rounds I use to, so I want to get the most out of it I can, when I was a "youts" I couldn't cycle the bolt fast enough, now I set up on a hill or meadow, and take a few shots then just sit peacefully, take a shot and then play with my dog, take another shot and eat a "sammich" take another shot then it's nap time, take one last shot, and then time to go home cause I'm exhausted, I would do that every day If I could, and so would Jasmine my faithful Border Collie, here she is with my Grand Daughter, this is one of my favorite pics in the whole world.
