Yeah, its best to stick with topics at hand.
Like sooty case necks, annealing, what glue to use on wooden balls, hassling Deano...

Again, no comment.
You guys are trying to get me in trouble. It doesn't take much these days to get me going off on a political rant.
Just ask my wife.

I'll bet Deano never sees any black soot marks on the necks of his brass.
Stretch marks, yes.
But no black marks...
Nice shot man !:usa2:

I just wouldn't feel complete unless I take a shot at Deano and his reloading technique. He calls me a wimp for my light loads so I have to get 'em in when the opportunity presents itself.

Light loads you say, I am surprised they even make it out of they end of the barrel.

It's a good thing I have no feelings.
That might've hurt.
So what if I get 46" of drop from 50yds to 100yds?
What's it to ya?

Don't feel bad,my load data is light years behind Dean's ....
The ball is glued onto the cutter but I have no brass to trim.
Dean, I would trade you the extra cutter in the new 1/4" shank package for a piece of stretched brass but think it would wear my cutter out trimming it back to length in which I would need the cutter with the new 1/4" shank that I traded you. I can't win !
I would venture to bet some of them might....hahahahah!
Only the good ones!

You guys are hopeless.
To the OP: Check out this video.

I never used tempilaq for the longest time. I still made ammo.
You dont have to dunk the brass in water. I found that I had to dry the brass if I dunked it. This guy uses a damp towel, I have just dumped them on a work bench and not worried about it. No issues either.
Have fun, ignore these other heathens.

Geez Sean, No need for name calling over different methods of annealing. Its a proven fact if you take the same job, give it to 2 different guys, each one will do it their own way and each one will call the other a butt nugget.
Heathen?
After being married 3 or 4 times that's a compliment compared to what I'm used to being called.
All kidding aside, I've tried the drill method, the wet paper method, the stretched out spring method and a few others. I use what works for me. It helps being methodical when you have chronic / reoccurring reloader's OCD.
Have a nice day.

No that's my outdated antique of a laptop sending 2 posts after I hit the go button. It does it every now and again. There's a few other strange & unusual things it does depending on which site I'm using.
Just one of many reasons why me & these new fangled electronic gadgets don't get along well.
