I loaded some up this weekend, looking for a hunting bullet for my 308. I use 40.5grns of IMR4064. No pressure signs, load was compressed, shot quarter size groups!
What do you think?
I have also loaded some Berger 190's and they grouped pretty good also!

I guess the question is, if that load does what you want it to do and is that accurate, what's the question?
I don't load anything that heavy in a.308 Win. My favorite .308 loads are 165grn/hunting and 168grn/target. I do like 4064. It's been one of my favorite powders for over 50 years. It's accurate, versatile, consistant, and available everywhere.

Just seeing if anyone else shoots 200gr Barnes in their 308! I have two other 308's that love 190 Bergers! Normally I shoot 175's except for one of my 308's which loves 168 SMK's!!!!!!
Pig hunting, I figured the Barnes 200gr would do the job!!!!!! I guess to finish the story! Or question!
