Nick,
Lee and RCBS both make good starter kits. I got started with the Lee so that is where my experience lies. The press is good, primer tool is awesome, scale is so-so (RCBS or Redding better) powder thrower will get you by. Book is good. As I've come along I replaced the scale & thrower with a Redding beam scale, powder thrower & trickler. Dies from Forster, Lee & RCBS are all good. I love Lee's case length trimmers. RCBS bevel & chamfer tool is very good.
RCBS has good presses too.
