How do you clean ceramic polishing stones ?

Muriatic acid diluted with water is used for cleaning masonry surfaces. It will not harm glass or paint.
Id try a sample batch with that. It stores well and is reasonable. Flush with water after using it.

just remember, always add acid to water, NOT water to acid!

I keep mine in a pickle jar in mineral spirits.

brake clean gets the crap out of the pores in a hurry.

I saw the title "How do you clean your stones?" and thought to myself this ought to be good....
Anything that'll cut the light weight oil I use on them and wash away the crabs..... ah, I mean metal chips / flakes.
Mineral ghosts or spirits, kerosene, brake cleaner, Quell's....
