What would it take to convert a savage 110 to a detachable box mag? Figure the stock is the most obvious. But what other hardware would be required?

I don't know why you would need a side button release unless it is a stagger feed. If it is centerfeed you have a lot of factory options in wood and plastic. Factory dbm or aftermarket.

You will need the bottom metal and magazine required for the swap. Doesn't need to be the side button release? (RobbinHood beat me to the punch) Not sure why that is being advocated? Watch the classifieds section surely the right stuff will pop up.

I suggested the side button release because, I see them regularly and really cheap.

Thanks for the info guys, any fitting issues or other details I should watch out for? Will pre or post accu trigger make a difference or any difference between the action on a 110
thru 116?
