I finished up my most recent project. Some of the parts were acquired used but I'm happy with the end result.
Stevens 200 action
Polished the bolt
Timney trigger
Stainless bolt handle
Nut and recoil lug from Sin Arms
Weaver rail
22" Shaw Barrel
Factory Savage laminate stock with bedding and stainless trigger guard/hardware.
Injust picked up a 50 cal action which depleated my scope fund. Soon as I recover it will get glass.

Every time I see or here mention of "Swede" anymore I start looking around for a tall, shady looking guy with a heavy accent. That's what I get for watching AMC's Hell on Wheels I guess. lol

Cullen had a hard time "finishing the Swede".
This Stevens looks pretty nice, though!

Very nice classic look to it!

Or Clint Eastwood's Heartbreak Ridge.... "Swede, Swede, Swede!!"

Yeah, but I was near cheering when he finally did.... loved that show!

I have been wanting to build one for a long time. A member here was gracious enough to part with a low round count barrel and I jumped on it. That was the start of a great build.
That is a great looking rifle.
I really like the combo of a stainless barrel with a blued receiver
The Chrome bolt handle is a real nice touch.

I took some emery cloth to the factory Stevens bolt and polished off the letters. I then hand polished it with some metal polish until I got a good shine. I've done this a few times and have been pretty happy with the results.
Like it a lot Travis. Hope it shoots great for you.

Thank you! I'm berry happy with how it turned out. I appreciate the great deal on the barrel also.
