From all accounts on the Rifle Basix website, and all the documentation that I can find, it appears the SAV-2 is not compatible with the bottom bolt release. Honestly, looking at the trigger housing in detail, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't, with the small exception of the bolt release tab. Am I getting this right?
Second question, does anyone feel that this would still be a doable situation with a swap out of the sear? This has me bugged quite a bit. I am currently running the SAV-1, and it is an awesome trigger. I have it as low as I can get the thing, even with swapping springs. I would still like to get it a bit lighter if possible.
Any insight to this would be greatly appreciated. I just didn't want to pony up the funds for the 2, and it truly not be able to work. Thanks!!
