Don't believe I ever found a used tupperware stocked Savage rifle with the suggested Savage torque of 30-35 in/lbs. All seem loose or worse ready to fall out. First thing I do is replace the plastic trigger guard with a steel one or bore thru the front hole in it to allow the action screw head to reach the pillar. When screws are torqued at 50-60 lbs they seem to stay put longer. Any time you place side pressure to machine bolts you are "amplifying" the tensile torque at the minor diameter of the threads. As mentioned before the soft plastic stock is bending a lot more between the action screws than stiffer stocks at recoil.
Maintaining constant torque value in a tupperware stock seems like the first thing I would do.
