Vortex Crossfire 6-18 x 44 any feedback on this scope?

I have picked up one of these scopes but have never used one before, I am planning on shooting 22-250 with it out to but no longer than 500y, are these any good , any feedback or experience with this scope on this or similar caliber?

For my 22-250 I bought a cabelas house brand on closeout in the same power, because my old 3-10 scope crosshairs would cover up prairie dogs past 600yrds. So far I like it, for this gun. If I was still using it to hunt coyotes I think 6x would be a little too much for those up close (sub 200yrd) running shoots. I moved that 3-10 to an AR...

I want impressed with it at all. I moved up to the Diamondback and still wasn't impressed. Dumped Vortex for Athlon and have never looked back. Absolutely love my Athlon Argos btr 6-24x50.

Good to know. I didnt pay for it got it free from a buddy. I was thinking of trying it out on my 22-250 untill i save up for something more quality
