Here’s a pretty simple calculator. Plug in a couple measurements (including using flip up scope caps) and get your answer.

BTW, have you chosen yet? Here’s something else I’ve found rather interesting, concerning scope mounting. Big reason I ONLY use 1-piece mounts(the rings, my bases). But I do like TPS rings, if that was my only option.

Rings work just fine when quality components are used. One piece set ups are generally higher and unless you have an adjustable comb can cause issues getting a good cheek weld and sight picture.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OpzMiRwt3QI prefer one piece also but alot of my rifles are ARs so I've become accustomed to one piece cantilevered mounts but I've swapped them over to my bolts on occasion and found the worked just as well there. I really like Warne but recently got a couple aeroprecision mounts and they are VERY nice, the way the rings go together you don't get scope role as you torque them down
