I know it’s not brand new. I believe it was released in 2020? Anyhoo.. curious if anyone has one & what their thoughts are? I’m not looking to get one mind you. Odd thing really, I’m not a hardwood stock guy- not at all. I like synthetics. Fiber Glass/Kevlar/Carbon Fiber stocks. And even more-so, I like Billet Aluminum Chassis.
However, I must admit I find myself quite attracted to this model. The flat black barreled Action & Walnut stock is incredibly attractive. One of, if not THE most beautiful 10/110’s Savage has made, IMO. I genuinely enjoy staring at it. The wood color, the lines, the simple look. Just curious what other’s opinions are & for anyone who owns one, how they handle & shoot?

Came home with this rifle yesterday. 243 Win. As to your description of this rifle - I 100% agree. I know I'm responding to an old post here but will definitely be posting a range update shortly. If not here, then a new post.

That looks like an adjustable cheek piece?

Yes, it is. No cantankerous screws or knobs to adjust. Push the button on the side of the stock - cheek piece up 1 click - repeat for more up - or back down. EZ.
Impossible to choose a favorite rifle for someone else. This rifle appeals to me for the reasons Mr. Hoback pointed out. Classic is a good name for this rifle. Am hoping it shoots well and will test accordingly with multiple loads.

If it had a heavier barrel option and got good press as far as 500-1,000 yard shooting is concerned, I`d be possibly interested in it for my longer range range gun.

I get it, but isn't this a hunting rifle. I like the wood but I would prefer a different stock designed for a more stable platform. That is just me though.

Yes, this gun is apparently designed as a hunting rifle.
