New member here. I'm from central Alabama. Been shootin' since 1963 and reloading since 1980. Still got both eyes and all my fingers. I like Savage rifles. Bought both my daughters .243's to hunt with. A few years ago I bought one for myself. My grandson got a .243 for Christmas this year. They are a pretty good value and they will definitely get the job done.

Getting ready to head over from Ga.with the sons grankids brother and nephews to hunt.the Bama rut past Tuscaloosa this upcoming week.
Funny thing is we'll all be using .30cals ( the younguns will be shooting youth/reduced .308 loads with 125gr Vmax and H4895)
I've gotten where I like to shoot em myself.
