OK, now I do have some experience in this area as I have built 3 Savage rifles for 600 - 1000 yd shooting.

This year my 110 chambered in 6mm CM, with a Krieger barrel was working just fine then it quit. I have done the extractor replacement and larger size ball bearing and spring.

My issue is when pulling the round out of the chamber slowly the case will drop ff the bolt face about 50% of the way back.

Now if I do a fast eject no problems.

Looking at my other Savage extractors they all look the same

Now before I order another Kinney's extractor kit I thought I would post here and maybe some has a better idea.

Thanks in advance.

FWIW: One of mine did that. Discovered that when the brass caught the raised part of the magazine follower it was enough drag to dislodge the case. The extractor just was not holding the rim of the brass with sufficient pressure.

I am not using the factory magazine. I have a single shot poly Sled loading block. Made by Sharp Shooter Supply.

But thanks for the reply.

I've had friends with the same issue when using cases that have been reloaded too many times with hot loads.
The rims flattened and even a new extractor didn't help solve the issue.
Try a new piece of brass and see what happens.
If that's not the case, a new extractor.
