Maybe not the worst thing to happen. I'd have preferred a company like Redding, Dillon Precision or Forster; with a machining background. But Hodgdon has been the heart of powder supply in the USA for some time. Started out selling bulk WWII surplus propellant in small cans to the consumer market.
