I bought a model 11 action only and I put the new 6br Shilen barrel plus the action in a new Boyd's laminated stock with a new stainless trigger guard but I do not have the button to activate the bottom bolt release. Where can I get one? And how does it mount? And also where can I find a metal mag frame and I want to plug the mag hole and make it a single shot. What can I plug it with to not make it look like Bubba did it?

The bottom bolt release button is incorporated into the trigger guard.

https://www.gunshack.com/savage-parts/savage-trigger-guards otherwise you can also find them on ebay. Gunshack also has the bottom metal but I believe they only carry the plastic one. Then again the metal ones can be found on ebay.

As to going single shot w/o a bubba look, https://www.ebay.com/itm/155944298435

My stainless trigger guard has a hole in the front of it for a button but no button. Gun Shack sold it like this to me.

Three pieces involved. The plastic button, spring and metal lever.

I will look to see if I still have spare parts but no promises.

My stainless trigger guard has a hole in the front of it for a button but no button. Gun Shack sold it like this to me.

It came like that because they sell it as a replacement/upgrade to the existing plastic trigger guard. You just pop the release mechanism off of the old and into the new. In your case though you didn’t have a complete gun to have the old trigger guard assembly.

If you call Gunshack they may have just the release mechanism. They also sell the complete trigger guard assembly with the release mechanism included.

CCW-MFG also has an option for a metal trigger guard and bottom metal which should be compatible with your setup.
