Savage 12 BVSS Pistol Grip Cap

Looking for ideas from anyone thats has installed a cap on 12 BVSS Pistol Grip.

Aftermarket Caps are great but how much trimming and polishing needs done?

Just to add flare something on the order of this with an embossed medallion in the cap would be great

Personal touches are nice.

Wife is a retired Marine, so I shaved the end of her bolt (one of them :) ) and epoxied a gold plated emblem to it.
