Just got my new Mkll BTV and was researching if a new barrel needs to be conditioned before deciding on the most accurate ammo. I have read everything from 'just shoot it', ' needs ten rounds to sttle down', shoot 100 standard velocity, bore snake, repeat two more times and you are done, to 1000 rounds with specific cleaning of the chamber and just wiping the barrel bore (A Guide to .22LR Barrel Care for the Precision Rimfire Shooter - The Truth About Guns (https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/a-guide-to-22lr-barrel-care-for-the-precision-rimfire-shooter/)).
