Sightron SIII 6-24X50 LR MD

Im still looking for a scope for my Savage 12 F/TR, fitted with EGW 20moa HD F-Class scope mount.

I am liking the specs of this scope: Sightron SIII 6-24X50 LR MD

Anybody have experience with this scope and F-Class 600 - 1000 yard prone shooting?

Is there a scope, no more than $800, that beats this scope for F-Class shooting?

I might consider a little more magnification for an F-Class optic, say 8-32X or 12-42X or 10-50X. Nothing wrong with a Sightron SIII for this use. See lots of them on the line in comps.
