i think i am getting close to haveing a load for my stw with 168 begers. it is so far with retumbo. i would like it to get going a bit faster, but i am not sure how fast and accurate i can get them going. i think they are going about 3075 rite now
just read all the posts. i too have a 7STW with a 27" shilen bbl. working up a load for 180 bergers and h50bmg. my previous proven load is 175 spbt, with h5010 @3100 fps. where is your development now?

ok i know it has been a while since i have said anything on here, but i have been working doing some schooling and shooting. i ended up going with the 180grn bergers and running them about 3175 or so. i have been doing some practical long range shooting i call it. its where i range a target figure my drop out and make the shot no bench or any bs like hunting but for rocks. i have so far shot a chest sized rock out to 1150 one shot one hit. i have shot a bunch at around 600. i am zeroed at 300 and have been all over the place in the ranges between these numbers shooting.

Sounds like you ready to hunt. 180's at 3175 is ridiculous fast. Post a pic of your rig.
