Well my 22-243 should be done in early Jan. Also working on two 6.5s 6.5 Sherman, and 6.5 SIN If those are done and extra funds appear, then a 20-250.

Undecided as yet, but it will be a .20 cal of some sort.
Going to do a 257 Weatherby and put a smaller contoured barrel in 264 Win Mag on a older action that now wears a varmint contour 264 WM barrel. Just to reach out a touch them.
Not a "build" per se, but it'll be my first target rifle and my first Savage: a 12 F-Class in 6.5-284.
It should arrive any day now at which time I'm sure I'll be bugging you guys with questions...
Doing a 6.5 Creedmoor
7mm-08 as soon as I find an action locally.
RP12, you're slipping......
Mine will be a 6mmBR, using a Savage right bolt/left port Target action. - Phil
I am getting ready to start a 6.5x47 Lapua rifle using a striker action. I shoot left handed and wanted a left bolt right port action so the striker action was a perfect fit. I will be using a 28 inch CBI barrel and the 7Finger pistol chassis with the AR style butt adapter and Magpul PRS stock.
Rebarreling the 12 LRP with a 26" Mcgowen 243 AI.Groundhogs beware!
260ai or 284win with a 28" brux
I am looking at possibly 3... 6.5x55, updating my 25-06, and possibly converting one of my 204's into a 20 practical. I may consider a 260 at some point.
6mm DASHER
I can't decide.....I need a light weight rifle that I can take elk with out to 500 yards. Humping my 15lb. 260 around on 2 hunts this year was getting old.
I would really like a 6.5 SAUM but would have to find someone willing to chamber it.....or a 264 win mag.
I've got a few items on my plate right now.
204 Ruger - Boyds laminate tacticool is on order, but will be here in 2014.
6mm Rem - McGowen barrel on order, should be here in spring of 2014.
6.5 LBC - There's a good chance I'll have a barrel on order for one of these to play with as well.
If I could find a staggerfeed 223 blind mag box and follower, I'd also consider a 6x45, 20 practical, 25-204 to play with.
Not sure if I will be getting a 6.5 GK in Savage bolt action or in AR15 style.
Using 6.8 brass loading the high COEFF bullets from my Creedmoor 6.5. GK stand for Grendel Killer, it won't kill off the Grendel but will out perform it, especially in Savage as I can load the longer higher Coeff bullets. In AR15 it has the advantage of better stronger bolts, better brass that feed more reliably in ARs. I have an extra lower receiver that is lonely. Have a new upper receiver coming so just add barrel and shoot!
But thinking about getting a Savage stryker length barrel, say 17 inches fluted, in a 5.5 to 5.8 pound Savage rifle. My Savage 6.8 SPC II will be completed mid January, expecting it will weigh 6.6 to 6.9 pounds with scope. It will be a 200 yard hunting rifle.
The Savage 6.5 GK could be a 400 yard rifle.
I need to give my Creedmoor love too in 2014. When it was stock Savage 11TH it shot great but I flinched. Now that it weighs 13+ pounds I still flinch. As the gun smith stated "Muzzle Brake", only thing holding me back is that beautiful Shilen Select Match stainless bull barrel. Almost too beautiful to thread with a muzzle brake.
Wouldn't a 6.5-6.8 have OAL issues with 123s at AR mag length?
What bolt face does the 6.8 use? Guy on SnipersHide cooked up a 22-6.8 he's calling 5.6DMR that gets 2900fps with 90gr Berger VLDs from a 24" AR, feeding from 6.8 PRI mags. Case capacity seems to tween 223AI and 22BR...
Lots of wildcats coming out of the 6.8 case. Mainly because guys have been saving their 6.8 cases. Once fired are worth between 35 and 50 cents each. There are a couple of 6mm, one being the 6 Haggar.
The 22X6.8, the 6 MM, the 25X6.8, the 6.5X6.8, the 6.8 and finally the 30X6.8 are just some of the one coming. PTG and one other place are making Savage bolt heads.
7mm WSM or 270 WSM for me. I would also like to put a light weight 204 together some day. Dad wants me to build him a 300WM also.
I'll be building a 250 Sav for my 9 year old daughters first bolt gun to hunt with next year. Looking for a donor action now...want to build it on a Model 11 or Model 10.
Thinking about a .358 winchester, 16" barrel, 2-7 redfield, boyds laminate stock.
Plan on doing a 22-6mm or 224 TTH, whichever I can find someone to ream for me. After I find a 22 barrel for them to do.
6.5 Remington Magnum
17 Remington
I think a 6mm Creedmoor is on deck for 2014
