Great day for the loading bench.

Hazy hot and humid, my kind of day to stay in the nice cool dry air of the house and load ammo. Have a few hundred Lapua .308 cases all prepped and primed so now is the fun part, watching the range box fill as the cases are charged and bullets seated. Will be loading 150 flat base custom bullets over 43.5 gn of Varget. Whatta Hobby!

Back at the loading bench today. Loading a couple hundred Lapua .308 cases that were primed and weighed a few days ago along with a couple hundred surplus berdan .308 cases that were primed a few weeks ago. All are being loaded with 150 gn flat base and 43.5 gn of Varget. This load seems to work very well in my bolt rifles as well as the auto loaders. Whatta Hobby!

Finished up prep on the .308 from yesterday. This morning started prep on 500 6.5 Creedmoor mostly Lapua sr primed brass that was once loaded and fired by me. Finished sizing and into the wet tumbler with ss pins, lemishine and dawn. An hour in the tumbler and then a rinse and into the Frankford Arsenal dryer for a couple hours before trimming on the Giraud trimmer. Should be ready to go into storage boxes later on today. Whatta Hobby!

    Check Brassstore-usa.com

    https://brassstore-usa.com/lapua-6mm...d-rifle-brass/

I would call for availability before I ordered.

From Shooters Forum Aug 24, 2022 " THE WEBSITE IN QUESTION IS : LAPUA BRASS-STORE.COM. DEFINITELY A SCAM STORE THAT WE ARE TRYING TO GET TAKEN DOWN."

From Lapua website: At present, we are aware of e.g. online stores claiming such as lapuabrass-store to deliver our products without any agreement from us or our distributors. THIS IS A FAKE STORE. DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THEM. If you are unsure, always check that your source is a registered, authorized dealer. Make sure that your dealer has their contact information readily available for you. Do not buy Lapua products from a vendor that claims to ship directly from us. These kind of web shops are scammers.
