Scope base help??

I just bought a Savage Mark 2, it has threaded top for bases. What brand and number should I look for? Also do I need a two piece or one piece? Thanks

You'll be able to mount the scope lower with 2 piece mounts, but will have more eye relief adjustment with a rail. It kinda depends on your scope.

I went with Weaver 48016 bases(2 pc) and low rings to mount a Bushnell 4200 6-24x40.
